CKCA Conference 2026

Are you ready to share your expertise in kidney care, dietetics, or social work? We’re inviting you to submit presentation proposals for our reimagined California Kidney Care Alliance 2026 Conference - now a one-day event in Long Beach on October 9, 2026!

CKCA hosts about 200 attendees, including registered nurses, administrators, medical directors, regional executives, social workers, dietitians, certified hemodialysis technologists, and ESRD vendors. The conference features general sessions and breakout tracks for social workers and dietitians.

Whether you tackle the future of nephrology, innovative dialysis approaches, or health equity, your voice can help shape the conversation.

Topics may include:

  • Emergency preparedness and survey readiness

  • Transplant updates and altruistic donation

  • Health equity and social determinants of health

  • Hemodiafiltration (HDF)

  • GLP-1 agonists and implications

  • Longer dialysis: patient outcomes and clinic impact

  • Nephrology: past, present, and future

  • Comfort care and non-dialysis approaches

  • Arteriovenous fistula

The proposals are due by 5 PM on April 1, 2026; early submissions are encouraged.
