Improving Lives Through the Tireless Pursuit of Kidney Health.

icon-4.png

Kidney disease affects millions of people across the world, impacting scores of patients and those who care for them. Trusted, science-based education coupled with broad access to the highest quality kidney care will significantly improve the quality of life for a large segment of California.

Driven by the goal of giving all Californians access to life-enriching care, the California Kidney Care Alliance provides resources to healthcare providers and the public. We also serve as a resource to members of the Legislature, and State Agencies to ensure California’s public policy environment cultivates broad access to high quality kidney care.

We seek to increase prevention awareness, expand access to treatment, improve treatment outcomes, and help people living with kidney disease and their families live happier lives.

Together, we are advancing the future of kidney care in California and beyond.

Kidney Health Awareness

Ten percent of the population worldwide is affected by chronic kidney disease.

More than 30 million people live with chronic kidney disease.

More than 785,000 people are living with end-stage renal disease.

More than 100,000 people are waiting for a kidney transplant.

Talking about kidney disease prevention and educating Americans on overall kidney wellness can help reduce these numbers.
